MY ONLY HOPE


SCRIPTURAL READING: Psalm 119:113-117

TEXT: "You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word" (Psalm 119:114)

COMMENTARY

It is clear now that official security is not enough for the requirements of humanity. High-ranking officials who are surrounded by skilled security guards are not exempt.

Death is just one of many vices that have taken individuals worldwide, regardless of their wealth, political connections, or economic clout. conflict, rumors of conflict, fraud, and terrorist assaults have made the so-called security agents always vulnerable. Reports of new epidemics and natural disasters that defy medical science are common.

Where is our hope, beloved, when we hear about disaster wherever we look? Jesus, the hope of the hopeless and a light in every dark path, is the sole sure hope of man that never fails.

Regardless of all of this, your situation is different when you are with God. Therefore, since Christ Jesus gives you hope, cease feeling depressed and think cheerfully. He is the only guarantee of safety.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Thank You Lord for the hope you've given me in Your word.

2. Lord Jesus be my hiding place always.

3. Oh Lord, protect my family members in Jesus name-Amen

GIVE GENEROUSLY

Bible Reading : 11 Corinthians 9:6-12 Text : 2 Corinthians 9:6 "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully".(NKJV) COMMENTARY Simply put, sparingly implies giving very little compared to what you already have.
