COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

 


Bible Reading: PSALM 9:1-3

Text: "I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart, I will tell of all your wonders." (v.1).


COMMENTARY

When last did you take stock of God's blessings upon your Is it possible for you to count all? I don't think it is easy life? Is it for you to remember all, but if you can take stock of those ones you can remember including being alive in the land of the living, you will surely say, the Lord has been gracious to me.

Before you sleep tonight, start thanking God for your life, protection, provision, good health, accommodation, journey mercies, etc. they may look so simple and normal to you, but do not forget that the same road you ply frequently has ended people's lives even on days you passed through it unhurt? Also remember that the same sickness which you were healed of has killed so many who may have even spent more on treatment than you.

Beloved we have every reason to thank God.


Prayer Points:

1. Father, thank you for everything you have done for me. 

2. Lord, I will always praise your name. 

3. Pardon me, Lord, for finding it hard to thank you in Jesus' name at difficult times.


Sleeping Capsule

The greatest gift that God Almighty has given humanity is life. 

Give Him thanks.

GIVE GENEROUSLY

Bible Reading : 11 Corinthians 9:6-12 Text : 2 Corinthians 9:6 "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully".(NKJV) COMMENTARY Simply put, sparingly implies giving very little compared to what you already have. Giving must be done sacrificially to produce results. That is a generous donation. Giving that doesn't affect you isn't a plentiful seed; a bountiful seed hurts the giver but moves God.
