ONLY SPEAK A WORD, LORD!


Bible Reading: Matthew 8:5-13

Text:.. Lord, lam not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. " (vs. 8 NKJV)

COMMENTARY:

God's word is God Himself made manifest (John 1:1). His Word is limitless—it is not bound by landmarks, borders, barriers, or barricades. It has the power to lift a man from the pit to the palace. It carries divine authority to transform a person’s story—as long as that person believes.

Yet, one of the greatest challenges believers face is losing sight of the power and efficacy of God’s Word.

The centurion in the Bible could have been overjoyed to have Christ visit his home, but he had a deeper revelation. He understood authority. Because he had experienced earthly authority over his servants, he recognized Christ’s supernatural authority over circumstances, sickness, and problems.

With bold faith, he told Jesus:

"Just say the word, and my servant will be healed." – Matthew 8:8

His conviction was so strong that even Jesus Himself commended his faith. And because he believed, his request was granted!

When life’s storms try to shake us, let’s not lose focus. Instead, let’s hold onto His Word.

God has a specific word for you in His Word—one that can transform your story.

Believe in God's Word, and you are stepping into a season of uncommon miracles!

Goodnight. Sleep in faith, for His Word is working for you!

1. Thank You Lord for a daily provision of strength filled in your word.

2. O! God, guide me daily through your word, to find answers to the questions that trouble and perturb my mind

I speak the Word of God over my day and I declare that my miracle awaits me in Jesus name. Amen

GIVE GENEROUSLY
