DO NOT BE SCARED

Bible Reading: Isaiah 43:1-9

Text: "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41.10)NKJV

COMMENTARY

Bible scholars have noted that throughout the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, there are exactly 366 instances of the phrase "Fear Not." What an incredible revelation! This means that for every single day of the year—including an extra one for leap years—God has provided a daily reminder for us to live without fear.

Yet, fear remains a major struggle for many believers and even the church as a whole. People fear all kinds of things—failure, success, disappointment, uncertainty, even death. But as a child of God, one truth should always be at the forefront of your mind: God has already made provision for you. He has promised His presence, His strength, His angels, and His Spirit to guide you through whatever challenges you face. He commands us to "Fear not," assuring us that He will trouble the very things that trouble us.

God is unwavering in His promises, especially when it comes to the well-being of His people. In Isaiah 49:16, He declares, "Behold, I have engraved you upon the palms of My hands; your walls are ever before Me." This is a powerful reminder that you are never forgotten or forsaken.

So tonight, as you prepare to sleep, rest in this divine assurance—no problem, no circumstance, and no fear can stand against the power and strength of our God. Fear not, and sleep peacefully in the confidence of His ever-abiding presence.
