BE CALM
Bible Reading: Mark 4:35-41
Text: "Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be stil!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm." (Mark 4:39 NKJV).
COMMENTARY
At various stages of life, we all face storms—challenges that test our faith and resilience. These storms may vary from person to person. For one, it may be financial struggles, while for another, it could be family conflicts, academic pressures, health crises, or barrenness. Whenever these storms arise, they often bring fear, anxiety, and weakness.
This was the same experience the disciples of Jesus had on the sea. As the storm raged, they struggled on their own, forgetting that the Master was right there with them. But when they finally turned to Him, His power over the storm left them in awe.
Always remember this: No storm of life comes to stay permanently—it shall come to pass! The presence of but it does promise that no storm will ever overturn your life.Christ Jesus in your life does not guarantee a storm-free journey,
So, no matter what kind of storm you are facing today, invite the Master into it. When He speaks, every storm must obey, and peace will come.
Tonight, relax. Surrender your burdens to Jesus and thank Him for the miracle you are expecting. Sleep with the confidence that no storm is permitted to outlast you.

1. Dear Lord, please forgive me in any way I have neglected your grace and
your mercy towards me in Jesus name.
2. Lord Jesus, l invite you into my life and family, come and take control over all
our storms and challenges in Jesus name in Jesus’ name.
3. O God, grant me divine peace that would cause my troubled heart to be still
