God's Comfort and Restoration.

Sub-Topic: Finding Strength in God's Presence.

Bible Text: Psalm 23:3 (NIV) "He restores my soul."

Commentary:

Psalm 23:3 has a tremendous promise: "He restores my soul." Loss may make us feel empty and emotionally exhausted. This scripture informs us that God has the ability to repair our spirits, providing refreshment and strength in the midst of sadness.

Grieving is a process, not an event. It takes time to recover from loss. This passage emphasizes that God is actively engaged in our healing process. He gives us the tools and fortitude we need to repair our lives and regain pleasure.

Restoration does not imply forgetting the person or thing we lost, nor does it take away the grief of loss. Instead, it is about learning to hold the memory with compassion as we go ahead. Trusting in God's restoring power helps us to rediscover joy and hope.

Prayer: Lord, I feel so shattered. Help me feel Your healing power in my soul.

Work Action: Find a creative way to express your pain. Journaling, making art, and performing music may all help you process your feelings and connect with God's healing presence.

Scriptural reference: 2nd Corinthians 5:17. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
