Biblical Text: 1 Kings 19 (Review the complete text)

Commentary: 

Throughout the tale, God’s presence is present, yet it’s in the stillness that Elijah actually hears Him. This event alters Elijah, reminding him of God’s faithfulness and preparing him for the future.

Elijah, previously terrified, is now revitalized and refocused with a new purpose. The whisper renews his strength to confront impending obstacles. The objective is not simply to hear the odd whisper, but to live with a consistent awareness of God’s presence. By listening for His whisper, we bring God into every element of our life, embracing His instruction even when the route seems uncertain.

Prayer: Lord, let us make room in our everyday lives to hear your voice. 

Work Activity: Choose a verse or chapter from the Bible that resonates with you and spend some time pondering on it during the week.

Scriptural Reference: James 1:5 "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."

GIVE GENEROUSLY

Bible Reading : 11 Corinthians 9:6-12 Text : 2 Corinthians 9:6 "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully".(NKJV) COMMENTARY Simply put, sparingly implies giving very little compared to what you already have. Giving must be done sacrificially to produce results. That is a generous donation. Giving that doesn't affect you isn't a plentiful seed; a bountiful seed hurts the giver but moves God.
